Partner Roles

Coordinator

The Coordinator is the main point of contact with the granting authority (European Commission) and is responsible for overall project management, communication, quality assurance, and distribution of EU funds within the consortium.

Beneficiary

A Beneficiary is an organization that signs the grant agreement, receives EU funding, and is directly responsible for carrying out project tasks and fulfilling all obligations under the grant.

Affiliated Entity

An Affiliated Entity has a legal or capital link to a beneficiary (such as a parent, subsidiary, or closely linked institute) and can perform project tasks, but does not sign the grant agreement directly.

Associated Partner

An Associated Partner contributes to the project by performing specific tasks but does not receive EU funding and does not sign the grant agreement. They participate at their own cost and help broaden the project's impact and expertise.
